Dr William McKeith AM

Bill brings a unique depth of understanding and current familiarity with the Australian education sector underpinned by a distinguished 25 year career as a Principal – the last five of these as Executive Principal of both PLC Armidale and PLC Sydney.

In 2008, Bill was awarded membership of the Order of Australia for services to education.

He has extensive and varied experience in industrial relations, in management of complex organisations and institutional transformation, and in single sex boys, girls and co-educational schools, K-12 and 7-12. In addition, Bill has worked on a wide range of organisational reviews, Boards and Committees. He is also an adviser to a number of Australian and Asian schools and business groups and is the Managing Director of Schools Active Worldwide.

He is a Fellow and Life Member of the Australian College of Educators, a Member of the Australian Council for Educational Leaders, and a Life Member of the Association of Heads of Independent Girls’ Schools.

Bill has an initial degree and education diploma from Macquarie University, a Masters degree from the University of Sydney, and an MBA and Doctorate from the University of Leicester, UK.
